Where the data comes from
| Data | Source | Updated |
|---|---|---|
| Currencies, share indices, commodities | Financial Modeling Prep, end-of-day prices | Every 2 hours |
| Cryptocurrency prices | Bybit, OKX or Kraken spot markets, whichever answers; each coin page names its source | Every 15 minutes |
| Economic indicators | Reserve Bank of Australia statistical tables and the Australian Bureau of Statistics (Australia); Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, FRED (United States) | Daily, as new figures are released |
| Headlines | Bing News, linking to each publisher | Every 30 minutes |
How to read the figures
Changes are shown with a sign, an arrow and a colour together. One-day changes compare the latest close with the one before it. Longer changes compare the latest close with the close on or before that many days earlier. Crypto daily closes are taken at midnight UTC.
Share indices and commodities are end-of-day prices and can be up to a day old. ASX prices are not yet included.
