Volume counts the value of trades. For crypto, FinVolio shows the 24-hour volume on the exchange that supplied the price, not the total across all exchanges.
Why it matters
Price moves on high volume carry more weight than moves on thin volume. Illiquid assets can gap sharply and cost more to trade.
